It all started with a copper bath...

A boho glam styled bridal shoot drawing its inspiration from Crockwell Farm's beautiful free standing copper bath, in their newly renovated bridal suite. The copper bath is known for standing the test of time as it has been seen throughout the ages and it likes to make a statement of luxury. Therefore we translated these attributes into our styled shoot by creating something timeless, glamourous but also unique.

The warm copper tones were paired with a blush colour palette which lends itself beautifully to the bare rustic stone and countryside setting of Crockwell Farm Wedding Venue. From the chic bridal suite, stone barn, open fields, weeping willow trees, country garden adorned with an array of blooms, through to the woodland wonderland pagoda, which every Boho Bride would love to say their vows in, Crockwell is privy to multiple photo opportunities.

This soft, dreamy, whimsical vibe was complimented by wild and free blooms by Joanna Carter. The barn, bath and Pagoda all enjoyed being dressed by large free flowing floral arrangements that suited the boho feel. Structured neat formations had been thrown away to make way for a more wild carefree look. With the option of two bouquets, a flower crown and a corsage our bride can showcase multiple looks throughout her day.

Unique jewels by Kate MacAngus Designs adorned our bride, opting for the quirky moonstone ring as one of the engagement rings, because who wants to follow the crowd when you can make a statement on your own? Moonstones (hence their name) have been greatly connected to the magic of the moon – a protection charm for travellers, and denote a path to wisdom…as a bride and groom travel on their way into and through married life this stone is a perfect compliment to watch over their journey. We also used the ‘Ophelia’ ring which features a pearl. Pearls are known for their calming effect and to strengthen relationships, both attributes most welcome on a wedding day.

The Boho vibes continued through into the bridalwear supplied by Serendipty, with floaty skirts and a sprinkling of sparkly embellishment adding the glam to the shoot. A particular favourite is the Adi Shlomo sequin and feather bridal skirt which is a definite show stopper and epitomizes the boho glam vibe we were creating. Sophie Duffy Makeup, Secrets Boutique and Mackenna Rose Hair styled our bride to perfection with flawless makeup, loose braids and nails even featuring copper leaf.

White Cottage Weddings created a suite of stationary to set the tone with a blush marble design with a twist of copper leafing. This copper leafing was also carried through to the beautiful Caked by Jessica Wedding cake which featured a hand painted blush and fresh flower design. The cake was framed to perfection by Prop Options cake stand and hoop which we added fresh florals to. The copper touches flowed through into the Seating Plan Flag crafted by White Cottage Weddings who set the flag on a dark wood and copper stand adorned with fairy lights. Crockwell’s Barn provided the perfect backdrop to the wedding breakfast top table from Applewood Event Hire and styled with blush and copper table and glassware by Fiona of The Old Dairy Decoration.

Thank you to our very patient model Sophie who even agreed to run bare foot and scale a tree for me without a backwards glance! Thank you to all the suppliers who helped make this vision come to life, you were such a pleasure to work with and and future couples are very lucky to have you!
