There is always room for more florals...

I first met Charlotte and Tom on a sunny day at the confetti flower field in 2021 to capture some engagement shots for them. Very quickly I knew I had hit the jackpot with this laid back pair who knew how to have a giggle! Getting natural authentic images of the pair of them was easy with my favourite image being when a bee started buzzing around a rather scared Tom's head…I captured his expression perfectly! Flower field images set the tone for what would be a flower filled wedding day...

Fast forward to April 2022 and once again the sun was shining down on this duo ready for them to say their ‘I Do’s’ at Crockwell Farm, Eydon. This venue really has it all for couples, from accommodation, every kind of picture perfect spot, insane food, through to 3 day exclusive hire. It really is hard to beat this venue and it holds a very special place in my heart having grown up in the village up the road.

The day kicked off with capturing Charlotte and her bridal squad getting ready at her beautiful country home with the help of Frankie Rose Bridal Hair and Makeup. The chilled out team had a lovely morning with the added addition of the brides 3 day old baby niece! Who I couldn’t help but whisk away for a couple of newborn shots! High five to Charlotte's sister for being absolute superwoman as she nailed being a bridesmaid and mummy to such a new little babe!

Meanwhile I had my trusty second shooter, Jess from Jessica Piazza Photography working her magic with the grooms party. She had done a stirling job of setting them at ease and getting some fun shots of them all getting ready in Peter Posh navy tweed suits with floral accessories. Not to mention the fab candid guests shots that were captured as the day unfolded. With some seriously well dressed guests we had a great selection of images to deliver. Thanks Jess!

Once I had captured Charlotte in her stunning Jesus Peiro dress from The Bridal Boutique Warwickshire (go check out this stunning shop who stock the most on trend epic gowns ever...seriously my new crush!) , including shots on their amazing personalised wooden swing in the garden and alongside her bridesmaid in floral gowns from Mango. I left them to enjoy a glass of fizz and headed to Crockwell to meet Team Groom and capture the guests arrival.

The venue had been decorated beautifully with florals by Hibiscus Floral in a gorgeous country garden neutral palette and styling from The Budget Wedding Company. The theme tied in beautifully with the spring flowers and blossom trees that adorned Crockwell on this spring day. This floral design ran throughout with our talented bride who had also made the wedding cakes shaped as their initials and adorned with petals, fruit and chocolate.

A beautiful heartfelt ceremony in the vaulted barn was followed by the longest confetti throw I have ever captured! Once again we got a cracking expression from Tom as one of his pals threw a basketful of confetti right in his face at the end!

The day proceeded with smiles all round and hilarious speeches and was topped off by an amazing evening sky with a glowing sun. Which meant I just had to drag them up to the back of Crockwell to capture them playing out in the yellow wild flowers. You know how much I love a field so I plonked them in my car to go find the best spot as the sun set behind them and worked my magic in my natural habitat!

Thank you Charlotte and Tom for picking me and trusting me to capture your special day. You were a pleasure to work with and I wish you a lifetime of love and giggles!
